Bruce Tarbox has been practicing criminal defense
exclusively for the past seven years. During this time, he has represented hundreds of clients thoughout Oregon.
Admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2000, Mr. Tarbox began his legal career as a criminal defense
lawyer at Rieke & Savage, P.C., where he represented indigent clients in all manner of misdemeanor and criminal procedings. After
gaining a wealth of motion and trial experience, Mr. Tarbox opened his own legal practice in 2002, with a focus on defending
those accused of traffic crimes.
Since 2002, as the owner of Bruce Tarbox, P.C.. Mr. Tarbox has represented hundreds of clients
accused of traffic violations and crimes - including successful defenses at trial of those accused of Manslaughter
I, Manslaughter II, Assault IV, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) and various other crimes arising out
of the operation of a motor vehicle.
Mr. Tarbox is an active member of the National College for DUI Defense, Inc. (www.ncdd.com), the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (www.nacdl.org), and the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (www.ocdla.org). A graduate of Brown University (A.B., 1989) and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College
(J.D., 1999), he is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a former guide/instructor at the Nantahala
Outdoor Center in Bryson City, North Carolina. In his free time he enjoys cycling, boating and snowboarding with
friends and family.
